GTK announces new range of latching USB "B" series

GTK, a global provider of electronic solutions, announces the release of its new range of latching USB "B" series products. The range comprises of PCB mount sockets and complete cable assemblies. The cable assemblies can be configured in variety of lengths and "end" styles This range features side-mounted squeeze latches that mate with the corresponding USB socket. To achieve full latching functionality a mated latching plug and socket must be used. The range is backwards compatible with standard USB products, but does not offer the latching feature. This product range is compliant to USB 2.0 specification enabling data transfer rates of up to 480Mbps.
